i just installed this motor, i had to drive to my local hardware store for the 2.5mm screw`s to mount it to my blade400. for that matter it didnt come with any mounting screw`s.
so after shimming the motor for a proper pinion to maingear mesh, (it took 4 washer`s per side) i finally got a flight on it.
this motor has ALOT of power, i have ran the Emax 2215, the e-flite 420, the gulang 3500kv, a piece of junk e500, and now this hdx.
i have only one flight so i can not talk on longivity, but for power? WOW.
this hdx motor is also smaller than any of the other motor`s i have mentioned, but seem`s to have twice the power.
if anyone is looking for a good replacement for their blade400, i would say try this little jewel.
