Submited By: Weldon on 12/25/2008 Except for being quite tough these blades are absolutely horrible. Firstly, they're not carbon blades they're plastic with carbon reinforcement. Secondly, I bought three at one time and all were greatly imbalanced. I had to apply on average a millimeter thickness of tape to balance them and that was after applying tape to adjust the centres of gravity. Thirdly, they vibrate heavily and generate a horrible growling noise at moderately high head speeds i.e. _ 2000 rpm. fourthly, they're very very heavy.
Bottom line is these blades never flew well. The heli felt unstable and generated a lot of noise in idle up. also, the extra weight reduced flight times and caused throttle responses to be lazy. Eventually they broke my upper mixer arm in mid flight causing a crash and shutting me down for Christmas.
If you're a newbie and expect to crash a lot then buy these for their toughness bear in mind though, that even if they dont break they may cause something else to. Also, be sure you know how to balance blades properly.
