Using this motor on my copter x 450 and exi 450 and walkera 60 on the walkera it's insane. The other 2 it provides plenty of power i am running 2 3S1P 1800 maH in parallel for a total of 3600 maH and for sport flying getting around 10:45 flight time and for 3d around 6:45 on the sport flights it comes in at very cool not even warm the 3d flying it's just above ambient. About to test out the 500 for my exi 500 see how it does.

Good little motor. It is very powerful, and with the 13T pinion provides very high head speed on my EXI 450 MA. It takes the abuse of stunt flying, and doesn't bog down too much. Good punchouts, and the quality is impressive. I get about 6:30 ~ 7 min of flight time with 2200 lipos.

very good motor for the money. using it on my coptertrex 450 and has alot of punch, might have to buy another one for my belt cp. thanks helidirect.

Excellent little motor for my esky Belt CP. Only problem I had was that the screw holes are the wrong size for the stock motor mount (and CNC alu motor mount). I ended up tapping larger holes so that I could use the stock screws. The holes are in the right location, just the wrong size.
Great power and much more efficient than my last motor, I'm getting much longer flight times and the motor stays very cool.

I had to modify the motor mount in my HeliMax MX 450 but other than that I am amazed by the power and head speed. This moter runs very cool. With a 13T pinion I get plenty of power and more flight time then the align 430L 3550 . The can spins and the wires are mounted at the top so you have to be careful how you fasten the wires or it will rub on them and cause nicks. Very happy with this purchase.

Great power and cool running. I'm running this motor on a trex450 and a blade 400. Running on a cc 35 esc everything is cool at the end of the flight. Tunning in gov mode on the cc 35 is a bit of a challenge but in fixed endpoint mode it rocks my esc and lipo come down just warm to the touch and the motor is always cold to the touch. Pound on it for 4 to 5 min of 3d and still is running cool!

I brought this motor after my scorpion v2 was laid to rest. All i have to say is WOW!!! Insane headspeed on a 13t and makes 3d flying unreal. It beats the scorpion v2 hands down and for the price I ordered two more before the price goes up!!

I swapped an Align 430L 3550kv motor for this one. It has quite a bit more power, but it draws 4A less. It is much noisier than the Align...I'm guessing because of the "fan", but I can live with it. You can't beat this price point.

Make sure that they send you the correct screws to fit the motor in the correct holes. I bought the HDX300 version of this motor and they did not send any screws. When I contacted heli direct they sent screws for it but they are the wrong ones. Also the motor seems kind of tight.

I had this motor came with HDX 450 kit The good part of this it still works after 3 terrible crashes. NO problem at all !!The bad part of it is the outer cap was not very accurately put on the bearing since it was new and rotation was not smooth and gave you an impression of a junky motor. But it has worked. With the overall good quality of the HDX 450 itself this motor just does not make too much good to the kit. I have an outrunner for junky walkera and it spins absolutely smoothly. If you run this motor on 3S battery and 13T need to crank up your throttle curve to get enough response and proper tail lock. With 4S pack its much better. I use 40 Amp ESC and the most warm part of the heli is the battery itself.
In conclusion for the price the motor is not too bad. If you are lucky yours may be little bit better made

Hi,
i buy this motor to change my 3550 Align motor of my trex450, because i would like to have more power. it's résult than i Have the same flying time and i have more power !! :-)

J'ai acheté ce moteur pour changer mon moteur 3550 align sur mon trex 450, parce que je voulais avoir plus de puissance. le résultat est que j'ai le meme temps de vol et j'ai beaucoup plus de puissance !! :-)

I built a second heli with this for power. It powers my TREX camera ship with a 9.2 oz. Fuji camera. Tons of power! All up weight is 2 lbs. 7 oz. No problem. I've bought a second now. The stock Align 430L with the gold endcaps failed in-flight and killed my Olympus cam. First heli almost rebuilt with this motor and More Bling. I highly recommend this motor for all around sport and especially for Aerial Photography platforms.
