Designed by Hughes Aircraft Company after the popular OH-6 Cayuse, which served over the jungles of Vietnam, the MD500D "Defender" light attack helicopter was designed for multi role combat, allowing this incredibly versatile helicopter to be equipped with all manner of weapons, such as “TOW” anti-tank missiles, (2) 7.62mm Mini Guns, or (2) 7 shot rocket pods, as seen in this fuselage rendition.
