these booms suck, they flex way more than the metal booms... I bought one and wouldn't risk putting it on my heli

We installed 2 of these booms yesterday on 500's. The slot in the boom block end has to be lengthened. The finish is good. The flexibility of the entire boom is not acceptable however. Once installed the tail case can be twisted very easily and substancially compared to any other carbon I have ever seen. It is not rigid and thus we unistalled them after only a couple flights. It is very light though. It was just WAY to flexible for an "upgrade". The aluminum stock boom flew much better in hard 3D as it just doesn't flex... The carbon boom actually required gyro rate adjustment foor the flex...
