Submited By: Yvon on 08/03/2008 I got the carbon boom and it's great. In my experience there was no modification needed and it has made my tail lighter which helped a lot since my heli was tail heavy due to metal fins. I went about trying to break it in the air with heavy piro and inverted flight, flips and tic toc's. The tail held true for 20 packs so far. A great investment for those trying to reduce weight.

Submited By: Jeffrey on 07/29/2008 In regards to my previous review, I had a bit of inspiration. I carefully "grafted" the front of the stock metal boom (one which was dented and bent from a blade strike; KEEP THOSE OLD PARTS JUST IN CASE!), about 1/2 inch back from the slots onto this CF boom. Not as clean looking, but I hope it works. I will comment again when I have it on my B400 to see how it performs and holds up to "abuse" (similar to what I commented on above).
