Submited By: Thomas on 09/02/2008 This is actually a good charger, but it works on a certain condition. You can't use an AC/DC adapter to power up the charger and expect it to charge without a charge error. The way I got it to charge my 11.1v 3s 1800mAh 20C battery was to use the alligator clips that came with the charger and connect it to a power supply that outputs about 14v DC. No errors, the fan on the back of the charger stayed on the entire charge time, and it charged my battery damn quick! Since it charges at 1.8A, it took maybe half an hour at the most. Fast charge times are awesome, this is why I bought this charger, more time to fly now! I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the charging adapter inconvenience. 4 Stars **** ...I think amperage might be the problem. Keep in mind for you noobies out there, it's NOT recommended that you use this battery to charge a lipo with anything less than 1800mAh; it'll likely get really hot during the charge process and cause a fire or explosion. Do your own research for what amount of amperage is proper for charging your type of battery. Anyway, great product.
