Overview:

The flight experts have done it again. The Blade® CX3 MD 520N® Bind-N-Fly gives pilots unbelievable micro-heli excitement. The CX3 is perfect for the pilot that already owns a Spektrum DSM2 transmitter (including the LP5DSM transmitter included with the Blade CX2). It’s also covered in the licensed MD 520N scale body with an attractive police trim scheme.

Just like its predecessor, the Blade CX3 offers first-time heli pilots exceptional stability and incredible control through the coaxial, counter-rotating head design and 3-in-1 control unit. In addition, this CX3 also features two feather-light S60 Super Sub-Micro servos that provide full cyclic movement of forward, backwards and side-to-side maneuverability. The Blade CX3 also includes a heading lock gyro to provide better control and locked-in performance. The heading lock gyro also makes learning to fly much easier for beginners. It also makes more advanced maneuvers easier due to constant pirouette rate with stick position. As with other co-axial Blade helicopters, no flying experience is required to begin your heli flight experience with the Blade CX3. This indoor helicopter is 100% factory-assembled, test flown and with the exception of a DSM2 transmitter, is ready to fly out of the box.

Submited By: Sterling on 08/30/2009 This chopper is great for beginners or anyone just looking to practice nose in orientation. Its very easy and cheap to repair. If you bind it to another remote just rmmember that it is a 90 degree swash type or you wil have no control over it. The 3 in 1 takes time to adjust and will always twitch. This maybe due to the head vibration. The biggest problems Ive had are landing gear being very weak and the motors heating up very fast. _br /_

Submited By: Eddie on 05/13/2009 I bought this heli and I must tell you it sucks out of the box, once you get it and adjust the Gain and Proportional on the 3 in 1 controller it flies great very stable but a bit twichy when you fly it hard, ive changed everything to aluminum and that includes the landing skids,blade holders, Blades, battery mount, Battery, new hi output 180 motors, and the chassis, the damm thing is almost bullet proof she is a great little flyer now, but please adjust the 3 in 1 controler when you do your first flight test or you will not be happy, E-Flite has to retract what they say about this heli, it does not get a test flight before shipping, its a lie, if that was the case then why does the heli fly like crap out of the box, I give it 1 star out of the box, 3 stars after you adjust the controler and 5 stars after I sank in $300.00 dollors in modificatins, too E-Flite if you read this, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND UPDATE THE DEFECTS

Submited By: Joseph M on 02/28/2009 Has WAY too many issues out-of-the-box. Unreliable... Some have been known to fishbowl and twitch. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but there is alot of people complaining of problems with the CX3. The new police body looks cool as hell, but the CX2 is a better product.
