Submited By: Christopher on 11/02/2008 Great motor for the $$. Nice compact size and good power for sport flying. Great replacement for a honey bee king 2 brushed motor. Just some very minor frame modification needed to fit it. The only problem that I have had with the motor is that it seems to be incompatible with the Dynam 30A Brushless ESC (lots of news groups report this). The Dynam does not have a soft start feature that causes studding trying to start up that is very harsh to the copter parts during start up. I dropped in a Align 35A Brushless ESC and everything runs fine.

Submited By: alex on 02/22/2008 Fitted to FP heli (DF4/NR2). Cogs a bit on start up then ....... solid power and economy. Hovers at 60%, 33 degC after 10 minutes hot dogging (ESC 30 degC, 2s1p 800mAh battery 35 degC) Highly recommended for FP brushless upgrade (with 10A ESC).

Submited By: Warren on 11/26/2007 I put one of these on a Shogun V2 that had a brushed motor on it when i got. It was like waking a sleeping dragon! Gobs of power for such a small motor. Getting almost 15 min flight times too, as opposed to 11 or 12 with the 400 brushed and the same 2000mah battery.

Submited By: Al on 05/22/2007 Excellent inexpensive motor for my compy 300. great performance with a 10 tooth pinion and 1350 lipo. Eight minute flight sees only 800 mah drawn from the pack and an almost cold motor. very happy with this motor!

Submited By: Dave on 04/26/2007 I put one of these in my Honey Bee King to replace the brushed motor. I was a bit worried it wasn't going to have enough power because it's half the size (same diameter, just half the lenght) as the original brushless motor. After I got the motor in, I was pleasently surprised at how well it flies the heli around! Seems to move the bird really well- I'm using an 11T pinion by the way. For those of you that have a Honey Bee King and want to keep it on the cheap, this is a nice upgrade.

Submited By: Joel on 03/08/2007 This is an awesome motor. I bought it for my Honey Bee Cool. I am a novice sport flyer, but this motor has plenty of power and runs very cool, unlike the stock brushed motor. Construction quality appears very good to my eye.
