The Esky Honeybee Fixed Pitch V2 excels as a beginner helicopter on many different levels; it’s low parts count, durable plastic blades, and docile flying characteristics are just to name a few of the outstanding qualities of this machine. Building upon the simplistic rotor system with low cost replacement parts, any beginner looking for the next step up from traditional coaxial helicopters will fall in love with this little helicopter, as it can fly in ways no coaxial could ever hope for.
Utilizing a “Fixed Pitch” rotor system, the Honeybee FP V2 does away with complicated collective pitch rotor systems and focuses on fun, performance & learning. Able to withstand wind and designed to be flown outdoors, the Honeybee FP V2 excels in park flying environments, performing climbs, dives, banking turns and fast forward flight – all with benign handling characteristics that allows new pilots to make mistakes and learn as they fly.
Adding to the quality of this helicopter is the newly re-designed main frame & landing skid components, which adds much greater strength & rigidity than previous versions, allowing greater crash resistance over previous HB FP helicopters as well. The new frame design allows better fitment of the flight battery, and the new frame’s rigidity increases performance in flight, and better withstands crash damage when compared to previous models. Esky has also upped the ante by opting for a new 3S 11.1V 800mah flight battery over the previous 2S 7.4V battery, which adds even more power & performance to this awesome platform.
Newly equipped with Esky’s latest 2.4Ghz technology, you no longer need to worry about channel confliction, frequency jamming, or glitches in flight – simply fly & enjoy!
Arriving fully assembled in a true RTF (Ready to Fly) kit, you simply need to charge the included flight battery, install the included (4) AA batteries in the 2.4Ghz transmitter, and you’ll be ready for flight! Learning to fly just doesn’t get any easier, and the Honeybee FP V2 comes packed with all the essentials you need.
