The Esky Honeybee King is back and better than ever! Esky’s latest Honeybee King V3 builds upon previous models, adding better components and a whole new design that adds even more capability to an excellent 3D machine.
Excelling as one of the best beginner collective pitch helicopters, the King V3 is an excellent choice for those ready to take the next step in helicopter flight without breaking the bank. Offered in a RTF (Ready to Fly) platform, the King V3 is ready for action, and with its simplistic layout, it’s forgiving when it comes to crashes & fixes, allowing you to repair & fly without hours of tedious rebuilds.
Utilizing a proven belt drive system, the Esky King V3 does away with motor driven tails, which cannot respond to torque changes quickly enough to provide adequate tail holding performance. With a belt driven tail rotor, the tail rotor speed is always consistent to the main rotor speed, allowing rapid collective pitch changes via the tail, which provides a locked in tail rotor throughout all regimes of flight.
Featuring an upgraded 400 brushless motor, the King V3 has much more power than previous brushed versions, allowing an expanded flight envelope with 3D capability, right out of the box. Also incorporating Esky’s new Heading Hold gyro, you no longer have to worry about tail holding performance, allowing you to focus on flying, rather than upgrading your helicopter later down the line.
The King V3 features a newly redesigned frame with a larger battery compartment, allowing you to fit Esky’s upgrades 1500mah 3S 11.1V battery, which gives greater power & flight time over the previous 1000mah version via the King V2. Adding to this is the upgraded tail section, featuring a larger 10mm boom for greater strength & precision, and a newly redesigned tail system for greater yaw authority.
Included with the King V3 is Esky’s 2.4Ghz technology, allowing you to fly without the worries of glitching, jamming, or any type of channel confliction when flying in the area with other aircraft. Pairing this with Esky’s digital servos, and you have a helicopter that responds precisely to every command, providing excellent stability & control while in flight.
The Esky King V3 is RTF (Ready to Fly) out of the box, featuring a 6 Channel 2.4Ghz transmitter, 1500mah 3S 11.1V LiPo battery, an included LiPo battery charger, (4) AA batteries for the transmitter, and a fully assembled helicopter that is ready for flight!
