Its size makes the new PYRO 800 impressive: an outside diameter of 63 mm and a shaft diameter of 8 mm suggest the enormous power of the latest KONTRONIK motor. This new design includes bigger ball bearings and a motor can assembled with screws.
This makes the motor ideal for 800 class scale and 3D helicopters. Initially, there are two versions of the PYRO 800 available: PYRO 800-40 and PYRO 800-48.
With the same diameter, the PYRO 850 only differs 5mm in length of the stator compared to the PYRO 800.
High-quality Neodym magnets are used - heat resistible up to 150 °C.
The winding has been made of an extremely heat resistant copper wire normally used by the aerospace industry. This wire can be stressed to 300 °C.
