Please note that with international shipping, it is the customers responsibility to understand your country’s taxes, duties, fees or otherwise when it comes to a package / order being delivered to you.
In no part can we be held liable or responsible for any duty, fee, tax or brokerage fee, so please be aware of any such fees or taxes before placing your order.
Shipping to an FPO / APO Military Address
HeliDirect thanks our soldiers who put their lives on the line for our freedom, and we are proud to ship to any APO / FPO address.
In regards to such military based orders, the only shipping method available is USPS Mail. In the case of Free Economy Shipping options for $100.00 or more, please be aware that certain orders (due to bulk / size / weight) may not qualify for Free Economy Shipping due to the fact that USPS Mail is the only option.
If the above situation arises, our customer service team will contact you with further options. Additional shipping fees may apply, although we will certainly do our very best to provide every possible benefit in a case such as this.
VAT / Customs / Duty Fees
For all international orders outside the USA, certain duty fees or customs fees may be required upon delivery of your order. Please understand that we have no control over any duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other such customs fees, and cannot be held liable for any such fees, no matter what the situation may be.
Please be aware that all orders shipped from our facility are shipped at full customs value with all proper documentation and paperwork. HeliDirect cannot / will not falsify any paperwork, documents or pricing, so please be aware that customs fees may be applicable based upon delivery of the parcel.
In regards to local customs or tax related questions, please contact your local customs agent for further information, and be aware that certain shippers, such as UPS, can apply brokerage fees to a parcel upon delivery - something 100% outside of our control. Any such brokerage fee must be paid by the customer, and if not paid, the order will be abandoned at the customers' loss.
If you receive your order and do not pay the required taxes, fees, duties or brokerage fees, the order will be abandoned at your local customs facility, and due to shipping fees and additional duty fees applied to us to return the order(s), we will not be able to make the return, and thus will not be able to offer any refunds, credits or otherwise.
Please be very aware of all such fees & responsibilities regarding these matters, as once the package / order leaves our facility, we no longer have control over your order.
I’m a Local Customer or Will Be In Your Area – Can I Pick Up My Order?
Our Malden, MA facility offers a full in house showroom experience where your order can be picked up direct via our walk in facility. To take advantage of this, all you need to do is select "Local Store Pick Up" during the checkout phase when placing your order, and our shipping staff will process and hold your order. Once ready, we will send you an email, alerting you that your order is ready for pick up.
For all local pick up's, our staff requires adequate time to process your order for release. When placing your order with us for same day pickup, please bear in mind that the order must be placed before 1:00pm EST for same day pick up - anything after that time will require a phone call to our staff to verify your order will be available.
Please bear in mind that an order placed with us for local store pick up may require the same fraud verification process as a normal online order, which has a possibility of delaying the release time frame. Further, we ask that any customer picking up a pre-paid online order have valid ID, along with the credit card utilized in the case of a credit card payment.
If I Choose an In Store Pick Up, Will My Order Receive a Discount Based Upon Free Shipping Eligibility for an Order $100.00 or Greater?
No discounts will be applied to an in-store pickup, even if the order is above $100.00 and qualifies for Free Shipping.
I’m Shipping to an APO / FPO Military Address – Do I Qualify For Free Shipping?
If your order is greater than $100.00 and has qualified Free Shipping items, we can ship via Free Economy Shipping. However, please note that large orders or bulky / heavy items usually ship via UPS Ground, and since military addresses only accept US Mail, Free Shipping may not be applicable.
In the above scenario, our customer service team will reach out to you if an issue like this arises. If additional shipping funds are required based upon the USPS Postal shipping requirement, our team will provide you with all necessary options to resolve this matter quickly.
Do International Customers Qualify for Free Shipping?
Our apologies - due to the high shipping costs for international shipping, we unfortunately cannot offer free shipping for international based orders.
I Live Internationally, but Will Be In the USA – Can My Order Ship to An Alternate USA Address?
Yes – we would be more than happy to ship your order to another destination of your choice, based upon your locale destination within the USA. In this scenario, please input the shipping address of choice during the checkout phase, but please note that your order may require greater levels of fraud verification due to the alternate shipping destination.
For any order shipping to an alternate address (such as a hotel or business), please be sure to carefully check the address and verify all information is correct to avoid returns. Further, please be sure that the residence, hotel or business of delivery is aware of the parcel being shipped, along with possible Signature Required options that may be required upon delivery.
