Please make sure the polarity of YOUR charger is the same with the battery you want to charge. Red wire goes to positive (+) side of the charger and black wire goes to negative (-) side of the charger.

Submited By: Gurvir on 07/20/2009 Got it in 7 days, really good battery. The red wire was to long so i just taped it on the other side of the battery and but new velcro that fit good. Very good performance. The tag gets scraped off though after you slide it in and out.

Submited By: Jim on 08/09/2008 I have 2 of these batteries which are about half the cost of the e-flite stock battery. Many flights on each one. Longer flight times with more power. Performs well with motor upgrade. The CX doesn't fly sluggish when battery is loosing power like the stock e-flite battery does. It does fit a bit snug in the aluminum battery box. Replace the existing four battery box screws, countersink the screw holes, then replace with four flathead screws ....problem solved. Jim

Have previously purchased a rivesud 950 mah 12C for $25.95, this Mega Power is way better. Longer flights and more power, its smaller and lighter to. Can't beat the price, I am buying more!

The first battery (with the all-silver wrapper) is still perfect after well over 150 flights. However, the second battery lasted for 15 flights before puffing. The third battery puffed after only 7 or 8 flights. The second and third battery(s) were the new slick, black covering. I can not figure why the newer units are so flaky... Go figure.

Submited By: Leonard on 02/02/2008 Just received my packs, despite some saying they fit poorly, they are actually a bit SHORTER than the E Flite pack, and the same thickness. They fit PERFECTLY in my CX2, and so far, have superior run time, getting 10-11min before noticing any drop in power. You guys provide GREAT, FAST service - ordered on Wednesday, and received Saturday!

Submited By: David on 08/01/2007 I bought just one of these batteries to test it out and for about 3 or 4 months worked great, It wasnt like a great improvement to the stock blade cx2 battery but about the same in power and duration. Just recently though I picked it up the battery and I noticed it was all puffed out. I dont know how that happened because I hadnt used it in a week and I hadnt charged it recently either, so it couldnt have been from over charging or to much heat. I dont know about this battery right now its not looking like i might buy any more of these.

Submited By: Doug on 05/05/2007 The battery or the Blade will require a modification to fit. I selected the battery, and simply removed the spacers between the two cells for a perfect fit. Understand the risks involved in disassembling a battery pack before you try this! On my 10th cycle with two packs; run time is improved, and most importantly, the batteries are cool at the end of a flight. Other than the fit issue, they're much better than the stock batteries, and much less expensive. DougC

Submited By: Jeff on 03/27/2007 Great bats. Unlike other cx pilots, my cx2 is my toy while the big boys charge. I play hard and even do combat with my cx2. This bat holds in strong and kives me the power I want. Also in my foamies I get good power and flight times. At $10 bucks less then the stock bats why go back.

Submited By: Richard on 02/09/2007 These batteries rub the battery holder mounting screws making for a very tight fit,I removed holder and countersinked the holes for a flush fit on 2mm by 4mm flathead screws.these great batteries fit fine now.

Submited By: Brian on 01/11/2007 Bought a pair of these and very happy with them. Use them on a Blade CX2. Removed the spacers between the two cells and they slide into the stock CX2 holder fine. Haven't had any heat problems at all. Probably have 12 flights on each pack now. A bit longer flight times and punchy power. I prefer them over the stock battery, and the price is much better. Great deal. I was extremely pleased with HeliDirect! Fast shipping, tracking from the site and you know if the product is in stock when you buy it. Will get more.

Power is great, and I'm pushing close to 15 minutes of runtime with my FP2. The batteries are built well and work perfectly with the stock E-flite battery charger, which I use exclusively. Charge times are around an hour, and after many cycles, these batteries continue to run strong. For anyone looking for a light, powerful battery with JST connectors already attached, this would be the one - an absolute must have with the Honeybee FP2!
