Submited By: Dennis on 04/02/2008 Good Points The tail case is very nice. I like how they shimmed the pulley between the bearings so there is no end play on the shaft. Also, the idler pulley actually touches the belt to give better grip to the drive pulley. You can use an HDX pitch slider assembly & grips with this tail case. If you do this, just make sure you replace the pivot mounting post along with the pivot arm since it's a different length. Areas for Improvement Pitch slider was a bit notchy since it has only one ball joint connecting to the pivot arm. The slider locked up at several positions despite a liberal amount of grease and deburring. I finally resorted to using an HDX pitch slider / grips.

Seems to work well and operates smoother than the stock unit. Plus it add's some "bling" to the chopper as well! Looking forward to the rest of my aluminum parts!
