Introducing CR-18P EVO-PRO
HobbyPlus RC started with micro crawlers in 2018 and made the world’s first hobby-grade
scale crawler in 2019. A few years down the road, we have introduced the CR-18, the
CR-18P and CR-18P EVO series. With feedback from dealers and users, we have
learned that performance is of the utmost importance with small-scale crawlers. The
userbase in this category is growing very fast.
The expectation of users nowadays is different. They wish to have a small-scale RC that
can be enjoyed not only on the tabletop indoors but also outdoors under extreme
conditions.
This brings us to our latest creation, the new EVO-PRO. The new PRO version is
designed for those looking for a small scaler that has comp-level performance and
durability. It is designed with a new LCG-concept chassis frame, and revised shock
geometry with big-bore oil shocks for better articulation while crawling.
New servo-on-axle (SOA) setup has been designed for sharper steering, and will be aided
by sticky oversize tires, giving users maximum traction on all terrain. The layout of the
chassis has also been redesigned with better weight bias, and a more powerful 280 size
big-block motor has been included to make sure users get the best crawling experience.
To accommodate the new motor, we have designed a new heavy duty driveshaft for the
EVO-PRO!

This little guy punches way above his weight class! I would definitely tell anybody to buy this mini crawler. The buying experience was flawless and I was treated with a professional manner when I communicated my questions. I will definitely be buying from HeliDirect again!
Great truck, durable, well built and that two speed trans tho! Biggest downside to ordering here was all of the upgrades I ordered with it were back ordered for a month. Been in the hobby for twenty years and never seen it like this with other companies. The annoying part was the last part came into stock at 2-3 weeks into the month but I would have had to pay extra shipping for it if I wanted them to fulfill otherwise I had to wait. I waited until the eta date of 4-5-24 that then turned into no eta so I asked for a refund that was granted. A different experience than I am used to elsewhere. Thank you for everything you did fulfill, I do love the rig.
Great little truck, and customer service and shipment. It arrived in just a few days after ordering. I would order from hilidirect.com again!!
Great Car - one of our favorites
The features on this truck created the ultimate vehicle for crawling. It’s raked suspension with portal axles on large wheels allow this to crawl over anything. Add the aluminum frame and descent electronics give it a great feel and as a bonus you get a two speed transmission selectable from the radio. Big brushed motor is also great for driving to and from crawling areas as well as getting you the power when you need it!
Great product shipped fast and arrived in great shape. All in all every pleased with helidirect
I had to wait a few weeks before arrival of the EvoPro, but it was expected since there was a notice that it was on back order. Very good to know. Performance on rock crawling is great. Only issue is tipping backwards at a certain degree. When it hits that point…it goes fast. I did purchase the brass front portal covers and steel drive shafts (which were recommended by Helios), but did not install them yet. I’m sure that installation will help with the tip back.
