This is a must!, its a diference like day and night... this upgrade with the Extreme Metal Tail Rotor Shaft (10T pulley) (For king 2) and a headlock gyro make it very easy to control the tail, and its very cheap adn easy to setup

I think this is a great product. It made all the difference in the world with my HB King2. It sounds like some people had a problem with the idler guides. The guides that are included with the kit are designed to be used with the bottom half of the stock guides (as shown in the directions). When installed correctly, the system works flawlessly. Very good buy. Remember to lube the belt and adjust tension.

Bought one of these at the same time I bought the heli and it does make a huge difference in the handling. That being said I had some issues that makes me think I've done something wrong.
The belt is a little too long and the idlers are too small. The face of each idler that came with the set is actually smaller than the width of the belt. This makes no sense to me. In the end I left the stock idlers in and took up the slack by sliding the tail boom out and pinning it very carefully. I'm not real pleased with that solution but it seems to be working well after a dozen flights. The inability to take up the tension may be related to using the stock idlers.
If anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be geatly appreciated

Great value and I have to agree that this setup gives better tail control. I am a complete NOOB at flying a heli, and I could see the difference the first time I spun up my heli after installing it.
I know that some feel this isn't a necessary change, but if I were buying another Honey Bee King 2, I would order this part at the same time. The guide pulleys are great and the belt seems to keep a nice, firm grip rather than the slop I saw in the stock belt.

Xtreme - 43t Pulley w/Belt and Idler (stock pulley 32 teeth)
This upgrade increased the tail rotor speed and made my Honey Bee King2 much more controllable. I also tried 3 gyros before I realized that my tail rotor control was too stiff. I had to drill larger the holes for the ball links to allow the tail to have full movement of blades. See this web page -

This helped somewhat but not perfect. Now I have a prefect hover with telebee head hold gyro.
This pulley should have been my first modification not my last.

This is the way it should be. Buy this and put a good servo and gyro on your little Bee and you won't believe it!! I use a HS 82mg and a Telibee gyro and its as solid as it gets.
But I my put a 2100t on it and really see what happens.

This mod provides the HBK2 with all the tail authority I need. It also solves the belt-falling-off-the-idler problem. It provide a mod for your idlers that actually works.
The belt appears to be high quality also. So far, at 20 battery packs, all is well.

if i could give it anymore stars i would... this pull simply put is the sh** hardly any rudder input required to take off anymore and whats more i only 2 clicks of rudder trim and the tail almost feels like its locked (i dont even have a HH gyro!) definatly should be one of the first upgrades along with brushless motor. oh i almost forgot the additional bearings for idlers get an a ++++ no more belt self destruction

This upgrade part makes an immediate difference in your king 2's handling. Other upgrade parts like the head etc, didn't make as much difference as this one.

This is the single best upgrade you can do for your King II besides going to a brushless system. Tail hold and authority is MUCH improved over the stock pulley.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A++++

I have this and no HBK2 should be without it. It gives you complete control of the tail and also has taller idler bearings which keeps the belt on track flawlessly unlike the stock idlers which allow the belt to fly off all the time. Get it, you won't regret it.
