A Note on 5.8GHz:

For FPV flying, the 5.8GHz bandwidth is highly popular, and used often in multiple FPV applications. However, due to the very high frequency of the 5.8GHz bandwidth, "multi path" distortion is highly common, and with stock "whip" style antennas, 5.8GHz systems suffer greatly.

By utilizing a Skew Planar "Circular Polarized" antenna, video drop outs are reduced by a huge margin, and overall video clarity increases dramatically. By using this circular polarized antenna via your transmitter and receiver, multi-path rejection is added to your FPV system, allowing you to focus on the fun of flying, all the while extending your overall range & video signal clarity.

Upgrade Antenna Information:

If you plan on upgrading to the SPW58 antenna, you will need a RP (Reverse Polarity) SMA Male to SMA Female connector - not included with TS350 / RC805 / SPW58.

FPV Safety:

In short, common sense is key - use good judgment, and practice safety with every flight.

A Note On Range:

One of the most common questions with FPV flight is "how far will it go" - anyone who provides you with a specific range is either not being truthful, or is simply unaware. The range of your FPV system has an incredible amount of variables that no one can factor - this can be variables such as electronic placement, power output, antenna style, location, line of sight, local bandwidths, and on & on it goes. Simply put, no one can tell you the "true range" of any FPV system, so it is an absolute MUST to take every precaution necessary to avoid any aspect of loss or damage to anything while flying.

When flying FPV, do not depend upon your equipment, as no matter what you are flying, failure is always an option. When safety & common sense are used, you will reap the amazing rewards of FPV flight, all the while brining your aircraft home safe & sound.

Range of your FPV system is not guaranteed - use proper FPV systems & techniques to maximize your range, but please be aware that far too many variables exist to guarantee the effective range of any FPV system.
