I've gone through three of these in my Walkera and they all locked in the AVCS mode with less than one hour of operation time, which means that moving the mode switch to NORM doesn't work. They were also "glitchy" but it is possible that the glitches were caused by some other interference. I finally replaced it with a GMS piezo-type and I've no gyro problems since.
