Here is a great way to not take out the tail gears on your 450 heli the stance set you higher of the ground. and the weight is minimum can't tell the difference

This set works very well on my Hausler 450 clone. The original set were poorly made and kinda small for the frame. I like this size and quality much better.

I had to drill new holes in the landing gear, but that only took a few seconds. See attached pic. My training gear fit the new 500 skids much better too, and my flying is more confident with the larger skids.
