I’ve resisted writing this review because some of my issues may be related to user error but I’ve had enough. This is actually the 4th Axon I’ve purchased but have been unable to get right. This unit replaces a unit that I had in a scale EC145 for some unknown reason just stopped working. Granted the heli sat for a couple of years(I quit flying when our club lost its field)but when I fired it up nothing works. This unit was set up the exact same way but was a complete pain. It took multiple attempts to get the program to connect to it and now the heli is completely unstable. The instructions are worse then useless. I’m sorry I ditched my Futaba 750 for this junk

I love I couldnt ask for a better gyro no even done tweaking it yet and already I feel better control than ever after removing a microbeast x that I had locked in pretty good but not as good as the demon.

I use the Axon controllers on many of my models. They are rock solid, easy to set up with lots of features and future for expansion. I ordered this particular unit from HeliDirect and it shipped almost immediately with a quick friendly chat follow-up online. Great service! Great controllers, I have 4 and the only one I’ll buy in the future. Rock solid stabilization that is easily tweaked and updated with their computer software. You can easily set up 3 different configurations in the red, yellow and blue “Banks”, tied to your flight modes or any other switches you want. The rescue feature works, every time, and has saved me countless crashes as I have pushed my 3D skills. The “Horizon” stabilization feature might be useful in training a new heli pilot, but I have set this up on a switch that I use occasionally when I need to turn my attention to something else during a flight, e.g., checking my headspeed telemetry or swatting away a persistent yellow jacket or getting that gnat out of my eye. The case has a machined look and feel. Just a great, precision engineered product!
