Vtick PNP

I have had three flights with this plane and am very satisfied with its handling after some adjustments. I found that the motor had too much down thrust for my liking. I adjusted the down thrust to half of the factory setting. Because I flew off of grass, I replaced the wheels
with 3" thin wheels. I would recommend this plane as the next step after a trainer.

Nice looking plane

Easy to assemble and requires no glue. One problem elevator servo clicked and barely moved replaced it with a spare I had and the other servos tested good. The landing gear is weak and bends easily so it will have to straighten after each landing. Overall it is a nice flyer but I have a trust issues with the servos as the first one failed me before first flight. Asked Heli direct for a replacement servo but I don't think the will send one.

Nice plane for the money

So far, so good. I have not flown the plane yet. The construction looks good. I needed to reinforce some of the supports for the top and bottom hatches, but no dig deal. I also added supports and a small level plywood platform for the receiver. I'm happy with the purchase so far. We'll see how it flies when the weather gets better.

Good sale deal

I was looking to step up from a hi wing trainer to an intermediate airplane, and with this one having the interesting design option to be build it either as a hi or low wing, it fit the bill, and at the sale price, it made it a done deal. For the most part, the plane seemed well built and came as described. The lower latch wood retainers came broken off, but they were easily glued back on. There seems to be some slight discrepancy between this sales page and the included instructions about the battery and propeller recommendations. After researching the motor, SURPASS High Performance 2216 880Kv, I went with a 3 cell 3200mAh battery and a 10X6e prop. There was no problem with CG or power. Once I get a little better at flying and switch to the low wing configuration, I may also change out the battery to a 4 cell and/or change the motor for something a little stronger.
