The magnets come already CA’d into the metal cup but they will likely break loose the first time you mount the canopy. Best to reglue these from the get-go. Otherwise, a good fit and this option really simplifies canopy installation.

Ok first off when used to replace the stock front canopy mounts these work great. They make removing and putting canopy back on quick and easy.

Possible problem - I bought a 2nd set for a 2nd canopy i bought for my V2 helicopter. I just needed the parts that go on the 2nd canopy. The ideal was to be able to swap canopy's quickly if needed. The problem was all the magnetic polarity for the 2nd set was reversed from the first set. So that when I tried to attach the canopy side from the new set to the frame side from the first set, they did not attach but instead pushed away from each other.

The fix, using heat I was able to heat up the canopy magnet/holder in order to release the glue holding them together, and the magnet fell out. I flipped the magnet around and glued it back in with med CA glue. While the magnet has a different shape when turned around it still fits and holds.

I use these canopy magnets on my XLP Specter 700 V2 NME as well as on many of my non XL Power helicopters. These magnets make insertion and removal of the canopy much easier. And no, no way the canopy will come loose mid flight when using these magnets.

I am using these magnets on my Specter 700 V2 NME as well as on my Tron 7.0 and Tron 5.8 helicopters.
