Arrived in good shape. Have not taken it out for a maiden flight yet. Looking forward to it. HeliDirect is a good company.
I found the service to be fine, no troubles. The product came just as described. The download manual was very informative, no surprises. A good experience so far !!
Looks well built and good quality, just received it and have not tried to fly yet. Super fast shipping and excellent customer service.
The only down side is the lack of available battery's
One amazing helicopter
Awesome little helicopter, great service shipping as always was quick. Keep up the good work guys.
First impression was stunned by how well made it all seems, and hovers pretty stable for a new flyer like me. The charger looks really well made and the a10 transmitter is really nice for a rtf model. My only complaint if you can even call it that is the swash plate has some slop in it about 1 degree worth of blade pitch, I don’t think it affects performance but I’d like to see it with tolerances as tight as the align 150x. Overall I’d recommended this heli to anyone!
Is a miniature version of his big brothers but very powerful and fun. Love the aluminum parts and being a 300 heli I can still fly it very far away because of the beautiful canopy of the trex 300!
It has everything you need, I dont own helis since 2010, this is my come back, is very agile and fast, I like the radio is very simple to use and everything come ready to fly literally, the charger works very good too. It wont brake the bank and is easy to fly almost everywere because of its size, but it has a lot of power and responce!
Thanks helidirect for a fast shipping to PR!
I have only flown 2 batteries though it doing some gentle flying, and it seems like a good heli so far. It was stable in flight with a little bit of wind and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. The heli also seems to be made of good quality especially compared to my old Blade 400 3D.
The only complaint I really have is the connector on the ECS is a XT30 and I cant find any batteries other than the stock Align ones that come in ~1300mA with that connector. Every battery I found in 1300mA used the XT60. So if you want to use batteries that arent the Align branded ones, you need to get an adapter cable or change the connector on the ECS or batteries.
Another minor complaint is I seem to struggle a bit putting the canopy on the heli. It always seems to get stuck on something and I have to play around with it to move it back the last 1/4 inch. But I seem to always struggle when I put on heli canopies so it may just be me.
The A10 transmitter that it comes with seems fine. Its nothing fancy and it doesn't seem too cheap. Only complaint with this transmitter is lack of documentation in regards to what receivers it can work with in case I want to stick with using it in the future with other aircraft. It appears to use flysky's AFHDS 2A protocol so it may work with some flyskys receivers.
received RTF today. guess what no transmitter. nope no A10 i the box. so my excitement i was originally feeling when my 300x arrived was shattered. so now i get to wait what will seem like forever before i will be able to test the 300x. this is terrible
