Awesome Heli. Easy to fly. Fast delivery
I have three major complaints: 1) RTH does not work - it act like it will work, rises and turns around but never comes home. 2) Manual mode has major left yaw issue and tried several head-speeds and no improvement. 3) It is taking a long time to get these issues resolved with HD because of lack of expertise with this Heli. To their credit HD had me send this back so they personal test, but they don't seem to understand how to properly test RTH.
I love this little heli.Some call it a drone...Whatever..i have many CP helis dating back to the nitro 80,s .This I can relax and fly with no worries. Not into 3d but it fun to mow the grass....I have 2 of these plus the FW450 and Bell 206....i did have one fly away but may have been pilot error.
This is a review only about the helicopter, not HeliDirect or FlyWing. The heli has advanced GPS, Stable, 3D Acrobatic, and full manuual modes. I have, so far only used Stable and 3D Acro modes. It flies well, does what it should, and is adjustable with the IOS or Android App, There have been a couple of unexplainable out of control events, and two crashes not caused by pilot control. Still trying to determine what causes these, but overall, I am pleased with the copter.
Mine did NOT come with 3 sacrificial hubs, The landing gear was NOT carbon fiber and I did NOT receive the nice metal hex wrench. NO wrench actually. It came with a different battery connector than previously advertised. The extra batteries I bought will NOT fit now. I am a little upset by this. I wanted full carbon, the wrench, and the sacrificial hubs. YOU will get a trimmed-down version that doesn't to have all the little goodies as on other unboxings. Not happy
This little heli does what it says super stable easy for a beginner and can fly just as well for on expert.
