just received the program box and it works well with the pc software or as a stand alone unit. I would recommend it to anyone who owns hobbywing esc

Compact, fits nicely in my field bag, and does the job perfectly.
LCD screen has good backlight visible during sunlight.

This small box can go with you to the field and change any settings you want on any of the Hobby Wing models. Nice.

I was originally a little apprehensive about moving away from CC. Now with how easy it is to make an update I am glad I did.

Awesome product! Easiest way to set up an ESC ever. Literally program your ESC in about 90 seconds or less. Also has a cell checker on it so you can check your batteries easily. I velcroed the jumper cable to the bottom of of the program unit and keep it in my field box

Ok so the paperwork is real small print other than that if you follow the hook up instructions you can update the firmware in your ESC and set the few parameters required instead of those annoying beeps and moving the throttle stick around. Are there as many functions as a CC ESC = NO. Is there enough to get the ESC programmed = Yes

Menus are easy to navigate, very strait forward. small, fits in your shirt pocket. upgradeable software. I bought this to use with my HW 100v3 that came with the Goblin 500 sport combo, perfect pair. Oh and you can also check battery voltage. that's always a plus. I don't have a lot of experience with esc programming but this little box makes it a breeze, and you don't need to haul a laptop just to tinker with your esc.

Works as it should, if you are getting a HobbyWing ESC, make sure you get one of these too!!!

Program box is straight forward, a reminder, it uses the power from the ESC to power the box. So you'll have to connect the ESC to a flight pack. If you plug in a battery pack into the programmer, make sure you remove the red wire from the ESC before plugging it into the programmer. Damage could result. Default settings will work if not using a hot motor.
