NOTE:
This OMP Protocol version works with any OpenTX radio like Radiomaster TX16 or Jumper T16/T18 without external receiver. All you need is update the OMP firmware on your radio.

Then follow the Set up on OpenTX - Radiomaster TX16s video above to set up your helicopter.
If you have Spektrum Transmitter, you will need to use the DSM2 or DSMX satellite. You will have to bind the DSMX with your Spektrum radio before you put it on the helicopter. If you have any DSMX satellite with bind button on it, you can connect it directly to the helicopter and process the binding with your Spektrum radio by holding the binding button on the satellite while plug the battery on your helicopter.
If you have Futaba radio, you need to check if your radio support the SFHSS protocol. If it has SFHSS protocol on your radio, then you need to get the external SFHSS receiver. SKU: OSHM2055
----------
The highly anticipated OMPHobby M1 micro helicopter will be available this fall. This small sized helicopter inherits the great features of the bigger M2 brother, yet much smaller making it ideal for indoor flight in the winter. Product is expected to be shipped around the middle of November, but may encounter delay because of the busy holiday season. Three colors will be available: orange, purple, and yellow.

Great Heli, Fast Shipping!
Excellent heli. Bound easily my Futaba
better than expected
Seemed like a great product but mine had a faulty tail motor. I’m working on getting it fixed now I’ll update the review when I figure out what’s actually defective with it.
It flies as if you are slicing a butter with a sharp razor blade. Extremely precise and shockingly powerful. A tiny rocket for sure. However, it is relatively heavy and have higher disk loading than say mCPX BL2, about 30% higher. It can jump out like a rocket to all directions. Being so small and being so fast, I am somewhat hesistant to recommend this to a beginner. It can be quite intimidating. Though not as precise, mCPX is much more tame and flies more like a micro helicopter should, IMHO. I have both helis and love them both, but I would put them in different category. M1 feels like a small stone, where mCPX feels like a small block of wood. I also own Gaui X3 and Goblin 570 so I believe my comparison is quite fair.
Flies great. I have both the OMP protocol version and this SFHSS version. Flies identically and I don't have to use the extra receiver board to connect to my Futaba 16iz transmitter. Got it on sale during black Friday, great price and fast shipping from Helidirect.
