I was given a hand-me-down Blade 550X with Spectrum RX+FBL, but no radio. Initially I started looking at Spektrum radios (NX7e, NX8+) for their BNF ease, but the pricing, lack of protocol flexibility, and their general locked-in ecosystem bothered me. I then looked at FrSky (very nice!) and RadioMaster (very open). I probably would've gone for FrSky TX18rs, but it wasn't available so I looked at RM TX18s vs Boxer vs Zorro and then realized the Nexus FBL existed. Since the FBL is doing the heavy-lifting for modern helis I chose the RadioMaster ecosystem, and the Boxer Crush specifically for it's size and CNC hall-effect gimbals. I'm very happy with that choice, but I can't believe the LCD is such low-quality... many complex screens show mediocre contrast and serious row/column ghosting that only a super-cheap-LCD could. I don't care that it's not color, but if it's going to be monochrome it should, at a minimum, be high-contrast without ghosting.
