Took me a lot of research to decide on the Radimaster but once I did the Maxx version was a no-brainer to select. And the best price I found was at HelliDirect. No regrets with my purchase!!!
I bought this as my first Radiomaster TX and it is A LOT of radio for the Money. Highly Recommended.

Got an awesome deal with Helidirect, good value for money. This is my alternative for X9DP 2016. Not a fan of Frsky anymore since they try to move away from Open Source community. Switching to EdgeTX and ExpressLRS now, TX16S is the best choice for this. Ordered extra AG01 gimbals. Wish they could have made as stock instead of extra upgrade - wouldn't mind to pay extra, just a waste of time to do it separately.
I purchased a TX16S a while back and have enjoyed using it. I decided to pick up another TX16S and went with the Max edition in carbon. Loaded up EdgeTX for touchscreen capability and plan to use this as my main ELRS TX. I like the updated hex screws and the overall build quality is great for the price. The added CNC parts definitely make the radio seem more upscale. I may have to upgrade to the CNC gimbals as those have been getting great reviews.
If you're looking for a traditional sized radio that can do multi-protocol with the added capability of an expansion bay and OpenTX/EdgeTX functionality, this is the radio to get.
Radio master has been on my list for months it appears Santa has found one. Looking forward to Christmas.
Very nice radio for the money,if you like open tx. I used the frsky taranis for years. This radio with color screen much better.
Helidirect and Radiomaster best combination ever
Well took me bit to understand how to set up helicopter flight modes and get companion to work. But is a great radio
Great radio. Very fast delibery. The optional gimbal spacers were not easy to install and the extra long 8 screws that came for them are in fact a little bit short. They only grab by a couple of threads whereas the original short screws (without the spacers of course) grabbed many more threads. Setting up this radio is a handful and even though the manual is long it is not adequate. You have to watch a few youtube videos to figure things out. My feedback to Radiomaster it to find some slightly longer screws or better yet offer a version with the gimbal spacers already installed. Also I would like them to put nice readable labels on the RTN, PAGE>, PAGE
I was pleasantly surprised the radio arrived quickly - thanks for the fast shipping service! I had a Jumper T16, but it had the stuck button issue - replacing the ribbon cables helped for a few weeks but the issue happened again... I definitely like this radio! I'm still setting it up but so far it's working great. It feels very solid. Can't wait to try the touchscreen when OpenTX 2.4 arrives. Thanks HeliDirect for the great service!
