All around awesome

Shipped quick and arrived well packaged. Installed battery and fired it up. Updated EdgeTx to latest version and started playing around. Being new to the hobby and this being my first TX there was a bit of a learning curve, but nothing an hour or two on youtube couldn’t solve. Within the first day I was paired to a Blade 120s2 and all functions worked correctly. Comparing feature to feature you will spend $800-1000 more if you go with Futaba or Spektrum. The 4in1 with the ability to add on an external ELRS module gives the ultimate in versatility to have one TX to rule them all. Would buy again.

Excellent Remote control and good shipping

The remote control is brand new and latest model. The order was in the backlog. However, I received in reasonable and acceptable delay.

Radiomaster TX16S

Excellent value for a full-featured transmitter. Multiple protocol was the key selling point. Easy transition to Edge TX as I've used an Open TX FrSky Taranis X9D+ for years.

Great upgrade over the TX16S Mk1. I now love this radio!

I've had a TX16S for over a year now and I like it but there were a few this that bugged me. The two main things were the gimbals and the battery cover. Also, the case screws stripped very easily. Whenever I turned on the Mk1 radio, I got a throttle warning. No matter how many times I calibrated the gimbals, it still happened. The charging was slow and the light never went out to tell me the charge was complete so I just took out the battery each time to charge it. The cover was a pain to get on and off, especially with the 5AH battery.

The MkII has fixed all these problems and made so many improvements that this now can compete with the FRSky and Spektrum radios and at a way lower price. The gimbals are fantastic. I'm talking about the stock gimbals not the AG01 upgraded gimbals. I no longer get the throttle warning and they feel great. The knobs and sliders are much higher quality. The battery door is way easier to remove, although I hardly ever remove it anymore because the new charging circuit works so well. If plugged into a QC compatible charger, it charges the 5AH battery in under 2 hours and the light goes off to tell you it's done. The case screws are much thicker with coarse threads that don't strip the plastic. EdgeTX is fantastic and programming this with the touchscreen is SOOOO much easier. I upgraded to EdgeTX 2.8 immediately so I can't comment on 2.5 but all my models came over from OpenTX with no problems, other than I had to re-setup the Widgets. Fortunately, that's super easy with the touchscreen. I'm very, very, very happy with this radio!
