Thought I'd try a new system and am very happy so far with this transmitter. It's a bit of a learning curve coming from spektrum but not impossible to learn.
The Radiomaster TX16S MkII transmitter with AG01 gimbals is a high quality radio. I used Spektrum radios for many years and the FrSky X20S for a bit but this is by far the most flexible a d easy to use radio yet. Edge TX can do whatever you need and is easy to use. Heli Direct, as usual, came through with super fast shipping and great service.

I was Spektrum DX8/DX9 user for 20 years. Finally switched to RADIOMASTER. Edge TX was pretty easy to learn. All the functionality is mind blowing. Large, colorful touch screen is incredible. Very solid transmitter. I am a huge fan now. There is a huge future ahead for RADIOMASTER.
Beautiful radio, cnc gimbals soooo smooth. all around great radio and great savings over major brands
My first transmitter and wasn't sure what to go with between the major brand names. Great reviews kept pointing me to the RadioMaster but was a little concerned about the steep learning curve I'd often read about. Turns out it was a little overwhelming at first, but after some YouTube videos and just going through the settings it turned out to be a great crash course in EdgeTX. The touchscreen works great, the AG01 Hall gimbals feel great, and overall fit and finish easily meets and exceeds its price. I'd buy it again.
Original radiomaster transmitter was defective. This replacement is outstanding. It runs Edgetx, has outstanding gimbal and is a solid machine. Extremely durable and well made. Easily programmable even easier than Opentx on my previous tx16s. I've installed custom icons and sounds Easily. Transferring models from Opentx to Edgetx was easy with this version of Edgetx.
Simply an outstanding transmitter
I replaced a NX8 with this. It is easy to setup and like the fact that I was able to add a button in the back for timer reset and change switches around. So far I love it and have had zero issues. This would be my first pick if I ever needed to replace it.
