First I have to say the price was good from helidirct and delivery was quick. I haven't used the transmitter yet but it looks great and feels good the screen is clear the touch screen appears to work well.I am looking forward to using the tx16s soon

I came from high-end surface radios (where open source hasn't made an entry) and low-end RTF stuff so it of a learning curve, and most YouTube resources are on OpenTX, not latest EdgeTX but once you figure it out, it works great and isn't too bad to work with.

Main reason for the review is Heli Directs great service, I ordered this and a Spirit2 unit on a Wednesday and it got packaged straight away was in Australia the following Thursday delivered to me.

Always had Spectrum. Got the TX16S MKII Max in Red and button color contrasts are great for programming. I can easily see what I’m doing with older eyes.

Learning Curve on Setup and Menus, but Touch Screen helps speed through Settings.

Already Customized my Home Screen and 2 Models. Bound a Multi E129/C186 on the 4 in 1 module. Been test flying and tuning my E120/BO-105 Outside in 3-5 winds. 3 Flite Modes with Voice Tracs on every Switch. Got it pretty Flyable in all three F Modes, switching for wind conditions. Pretty good for a Touchy Micro Toy Heli.

Also Duplicated the Model for my RC ERA MD500. Testing and Tuning that one next.

Love the feel of the Sticks and all the features you can Customize.

What more can you ask for? Fantastic product. 16 channel capable radio with all the mixing, dual rates, logic and global programming most flyers could ever need all for less than half what other brands would cost you. Free shipping from HeliDirect also!! Aces...
