The HKIII-4025 series motors have proven themselves to be extremely successful in heli community and has become the most popular motor used in 500~600 class helicopters world-wide.
And now we are pleased to announce the release of the fourth generation HKIV-4025 series motors. With the same motor design and materials of HKII-45 series, and single strand winding technique on this size of motor, it has the better efficiency and power conversion than HKIII-40 series, with an entirely new EM field design, while improving the compatibility with various speed controllers available on the market. This new design motor will deliver even more power to your helicopter, with increased efficiency!

Came in two days and went in the frame easily
Setting up the Heli atm so i didn’t had time to spool it with the blades on
Next time I order motors I'll make sure I get the right shaft make sure you guys get the right shaft when ordering motors

Finally got some time and flight in and as always Scorpion give me another great performing motor. Very Happy.
As always, Scorpion makes a great motor. It’s smooth and relatively quiet. Only suggestion would be to make the flat spot the length of the shaft so any drive gear configuration could be used without requiring modification to the shaft.
Just built time will tell but scorpion motors always rock
What a great motor. Their gold color is super stunning now. Instead of just being a flat kinda meh gold color, it is now a super bright and shiny gold with a CNC mirror finish that reflects light brilliantly. Extremely smooth running and just all around a very high quality motor that I am pleased to power my Raw 580 with. Comes with a sweet metal box that is a cool display piece on the workbench as a bonus. Thanks Scorpion and HeliDirect! RC Helis for Life!
