The only esc I use on my 700 builds. Paired with Scorpion motors and have never had issues.
Pretty easy to setup via the computer software. Comes down slightly warm.
You can fit an aftermarket OEM 40x40 fan on it rated for rc car ESCs. Ensure that it’s 7.4v rated so that even if you bump your servo output at 8.4v the fan would still work!
I decided to upgrade from the 200 Amps version to the 300 Amps version. The ESC arrived and showed some minor damage. Wrote to HeliDirect asking if it could be used as is but never heard back.
Arrived fast. Can’t wait to get it installed in my SAB Maverick.
The easiest esc to use esc in the market. The Scorpion and Mikado Vbar integration is on a class of its own.
Love the upgrades to this Tribunus II+. The USB port on the side for ease of programmability means a lot to me. And initial setup is very simple as well. Default values, out the box, will be enough for anyone to get up and flying. I fly VBar so to be able to tweak settings directly from my tx, is optimal. Performance is great, and it's just a beautiful piece of equipment. I would never buy a different brand!
I have the scorpion Commander series. This is a smaller ESC with better functions and features. Love the mah alarm and slightly smaller size.
I bricked my kosmik, ordered the scorpion and had It up and running in a few minutes
Better be real computer savvy to get it to connect with your PC !!!! spent three days trying to get it to hook up to my laptop took it in to my house computer and it connected right up. tried another laptop and it to connected right up. So I don't know why laptop #1 wouldn't connect, IT will connect right up when using the older version of software just not the new "platform"...good luck guys !!!!
