Submited By: Stuart on 03/20/2009 I say steer clear of this one. Wow, it has four big bearings and a bubble level, should be great, right? But the stand is crap. If you nudge one corner of the red base, it totally changes the balance. And you can't tell this, of course, if it happens while you're mounting the blades. Which is a pain becasue the mounting bolt is like o foot long. The plastic is of the highly breakable variety. I got rid of the base and just balanced it on some servo boxes. It will then rest on the bb's and works very nicely. But still a pain to mount blades, and I expect the critical but cheap plastic blade hole pins to start breaking off shortly. Pay a few bucks more and get something made of metal. I shoulda known.

Submited By: Vincent on 04/13/2008 I used my Heli-Max "Blade Balance" today for first time - very easy and accurate. I have Honey Bee King2 and am struggling to hover for more than two seconds. I damaged my original wooden blades so mounted a set of plastic Xtreme blades - terrible vibration. So I balanced my Xtreme blades and now very smooth. I used vinyl electrical tape. Luck, Vince
