So this is what it feels like to have the tail stay put, and do what you want it to do!!! Just got one installed on my Gaui 200 and it works flawlessly. Very easy to setup, no need to fiddle with stuff to get it to work. No flakyness. and I dont have the programmer yet, just doing the basic setup!!! Highly recommended I must say. Also there is a thread at Helifreak for Spartan users to share their config files with each other! like P2P file sharing for your Gyro!!! Oh My... Where do I start? Let's see I had a stock Esky Rate Gyro-poop, upgraded to a Esky HH gyro -poop, Then when I got my CopterTrex450 built I wanted something better, so I went with a Logitech 2100t, nice, but took me five batteries to get it sorted out then I crashed, and I haven't had it right since. so i got fed up with it and let the heli lay to rest for a few weeks, and I started checking out this puppy. I did all the research I could for it. I clicked the buy and submit button at Helidirect after getting a pricematch. I got it and wondered about the setup process. Was it gonna be bad or easy. I plugged her up with the usb link and programmed it for my servo and threw it on the heli. scanned thru the setup vids at our favorite heli forums to make sure I didn't miss anything. Took it out for a hover just now(wind is sickening bad). I really don't know how to explain it. I didn't have to adjust anything, it just flew perfect i didn't touch the rudder, so i don't know what kind rotate rate was on it. Didn't want to risk it with the mad winds here. It this thing made by the government? Seriously, folks, stop throwing your money away on those irritating toy gyros and get the real thing. Absolutely beautiful. A masterpiece. Thanks Spartan and Helidirect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy shit dude!!! this gryo is beyond amazing. I've experienced some horrible gyros where you have to hold the rudder just to correct what the gyro should be doing. Plugging this thing into your computer and giving it the proper setup is a breeze. I had to buy myself the bluetooth adapter just to be able to geek out in the field with the Windows Mobile programming. Cool stuff. I have never seen such perfect hold, i'm sure you've heard it before and I'm sure this is not the first time you are hearing that this is the best gyro you can ever buy. Oh! yea, and they provide firmware upgrades that you do yourself without having to ship the damn thing back to the manufacture for an upgrade, can't beat that.

You've heard about it, readt about it, and seen all the top pro's ringing it out on their machines. Only problem is you can't ever seem to get one. I managed to find one on ebay used and paid top doller for it. Hands down this gyro is absolutely amazing. Holds the tail rock solid and keeps the tail where you last gave rudder input. Smooth and responsive is how I would desribe the rudder behavior with this gyro. I'm using it with the JR 8900g on my 600 nitro and the heli flies like it's a simulator. Easy to setup and has all the flexibility you could ever need. Spartan needs to make more of these things to fulfill the demand. Lots of people have one on their main heli but all that does is make people want to put another on their secondary heli as well.
