The Spectrum LiPo Battery Monitor is one of the first Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery monitor that take up to 7 LIPo cell batteries. It uses a unique ultra bright super flux wide angle LED that gives an advanced 6 level battery strength indication through its color spectrum. LiPo batteries are unlike other batteries and discharges on a non-linear curve, therefore it is important not to drain any LiPo batteries to minimum before charging as it can cause permanent damage. The Spectrum can prevent this by giving you an early indication of your LiPo battery strength. It is designed with the leading edge micro-controller technology that gives precise accurate voltage level detection. It also has an optional high decibel audible buzzer that sounds at low battery strength. The Spectrum is designed to work with all popular brands of radio control model systems and will monitor its voltage level at all conditions. This LiPo battery monitor is ideal for all electric R/C models such as helicopters, planes, cars, trucks and boats. Submited By: Stephen on 03/18/2009 This thing is amazing! The light can be seen clearly from some distance, even in direct sunlight. It is programmable, and you can buy an optional buzzer. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. People say this a lot with different things, but this thing is worth every penny.

Submited By: Bruce on 01/29/2008 Excellent product! The LED light is very bright and can be seen from a good distance away. The wire comes about 5 inches long and has a male JST connector. I swap this monitor out with my HDX450 and my 3DX400. It can be seen at all times when mounted on the bottom of your heli. Just make sure you get a Female JST connector with a longer wire. Since owning this, I haven't overdischarged any of my lipos. I highly recommend this battery monitor
