SAB Goblin RAW500 Yellow with Main & Tail Blades

Just got my raw 500 today, the build was so smooth I got almost the whole thing done in one day. Sab continues to out do themselves every time. definitely would recommend this helicopter.

I used to have the original goblin 500. I missed this size of Heli. I am very pleased with the new design and the build. Just like the original very detailed instructions. Build if very easy size is perfect cant wait to fly the 500 again.

Sweet sized machine.

This is another awesome machine from SAB. It builds easy, all parts are high quality, and it flies fantastic. Everything you would expect from SAB. I put the Xnova 4020 900kv in it with the Hobbywing platinum 120amp, using Theta 988 for cyclic and the 982 for tail. Running the Ikon2 FBL with Futaba radio and Switch main blades and it flies awesome. I have two other bigger SAB kits and this Raw 500 is just as good as those. The Raw 500 flies light and agile and I am using Liperior Pro 6s 4000mah batteries in this heli. I have a bunch of flights on it and this is my go to heli now for quick after work flights, I just love it. I also bought the orange canopy and boom set for it and it looks fantastic and super bright. I bought this kit from another well known hobby retailer while HeliDirect had them on preorder. If it wasn’t for me wanting this heli so much, I would have waited and bought through HeliDirect. It’s the perfect 500 class heli to have in your fleet.

Great kit. Went together nice. Beware if you order the Egodrift from HD you will get a 5mm shaft and will need a shim to mount the pulley. The kit doesn’t come with the shim. The motors from HD are set up for Logo not Sab. Also the mounting hole pattern is different and you will need to modify the motor plate.
