Robust Flight Control
The H1 Flight Controller provides the most cost-effective solution for the stability of your RC helicopter. This flybarless flight controller has robust electronic shielding, reliable GPS connectivity, and extensive programming instructions.
FW450L-V3 ensures safe flying with built-in compasses in the controller and GPS. The latest U-blox4 chip from Switzerland powers the GPS module. FW450L-V3 supports core navigation satellite systems, which include GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BeiDou.
FW450-V3 is able to detect up to 31 satellites, which guarantees positional accuracy and provides a stable hover.
One-key Return
Emergency situations during flight can be difficult to avoid, which is why a smart return function is a valuable tool for users of all levels. Simply flip the Home switch to initiate a return when the helicopter is lost. It will automatically fly back to the transmitter's location in case of a low battery or a lost transmitter.
If you feel like your helicopter is getting out of control while in 3D flight mode, flip the switch to change to GPS flight mode for an immediate stop and hover. If the helicopter is upside down, it will hover inverted, saving valuable time and preventing a larger accident.
Carbon Firber Frame
The aviation-grade material used in the helicopter boasts excellent toughness, resisting distortion and reducing damage risk. This allows the helicopter to handle complex aerobatic flights with ease.
16-24V High-Power Brushless Motor and 60A ESC
Traditional “brushed” electric motors offer short run times and limited power. The friction from the contact of brushes and the spinning commutator reduces power and causes wear, eventually requiring brush replacement.
"Brushless" motors eliminate these inefficiencies and have longer lifespan. The FW450L-V3's 2816 large brushless motor, powered by 16V higher voltage (supports up to 6S 24V), provides more power and efficiency than the 2221 motor used by other 450L RC helicopters.
It features a 60A all-metal helicopter ESC, providing precise power transfer and enabling fast response during intense 3D flight. This results in high power output and limitless aerobatics. Support up to 6s LiPo battery.
DFC Design Main Rotor Head
With a Flybarless (FBL) rotor head, similar to that found in 700L RC helicopters, Fly Wing boasts impressive stability. Its Direct Flight Control (DFC) rotor head structure has a low center of gravity and low drag, resulting in more accurate, direct, and quick flight response, and ease of maintenance.

Awesome little Heli for a beginner and all round fun Heli be nice to see them jump up to a 600 size with the same. GPS system and normal system. Just a little bigger very nice.
A friend of mine bought this and when he received it, the battery tray and strap wasn't in the box.
He paid for 2-3 day shipping and didn't receive it for almost a week which was that big of a deal accept for the fact that HeliDirect decided to mail the battery tray and strap regular mail so now it's a total of 2 weeks waiting to fly after originally paying for 2-3 day shipping. In my opinion HeliDirect should have mailed battery tray and strap next day shipping or at least mailed in a timely manor. I spoke with someone on the phone early Monday and they didn't even get a label created until Tuesday around 10:am. Very disappointed. Also the Way everything was packaged was not good, the battery was thrown in the box loosely and lacking a proper amount of packing materials so battery was rattling around inside the box to the point it came out of its box and has gotten dinged up.
I'm really really disappointed with HeliDirect and this entire purchase
And am really thinking about not making any more purchases through HeliDirect
Sadly I have only had one flight. The included batteries are horrible. Thank goodness the customer service isn't. Buy the helicopter not the batteries.
Awesome Heli that flys like a drone. I've been flying RC Heli for over 20 yrs, but sometimes it's nice to just relax and fly something slow and stable and looks like a heli. The GPS mode is excellent for this and as a plus it flys upside down in this mode as well. Set up the invert mode to expert using the FW software, therefore control responses are the same as normal helis. There's also the 3D switch to makes it flys like normal helis. However, I'd rather fly my other helis with the transmitter I am used to for this purpose.

A few months ago I decided to buy the FW450, but unfortunately it was on backorder. Finally just before Black Friday it was on stock again with a nice price. To make a long story short, bought it and got it in 4 days with regular delivery. I still haven't flown it but Im sure it is great. This review is to congratulate Helidirect... great customer service and quick delivery.
First of all, I absolutely love dealing with HeliDirect. A great bunch of knowledgeable people with first-class service.
Despite the fact that I already have the FW450 V2.5 I simply had to have this. It builds on the, already fantastic, V2.5 with great additional features that are good to have. The included carrying case is very nice too and the (Green) canopy is very visible. I just bought a quick connect/disconnect head so that the case is even more useful.
Highly recommend it.
An absolutely great helicopter. I already own V2.5 which is great but could not resist this new version.
