Sometimes feels cheaper to just buy this than rebuilding the entire tail with a v2 hub, new thrust bearings. Actually affordable for Align parts.

Align quality is the best! Be careful after replacing an old design with this new V2 design as it will reverse the rudder throw.

Not easily compatible with older machines

I bought this tail rotor as a replacement for the old version on my ancient 600CF, but it turned out that it is not a drop-in replacement due to the screws in the blade grips being M2.5, not M2 as in the old one. This means that the tail pitch slider cannot be used. Fortunately, someone on helifreak.com pointed me in the right direction - the small plastic tail links for the 700X have the right screw size. I wish helidirect mentioned this on their website. Other than that, the tail rotor works as it should now.
