The Ikon2/Brain2 FBL Controller is a great system. The programming software is easy to use and very intuitive. The instructions and details imbedded in the software makes it even easier to set up this system. It is much better than using the transmitter sticks/gimbals to set up a heli FBL controller. I have no doubt the Ikon2 will last for years to come. And a big thank you to HeliDirect for great service and fast shipping. Thanks guys.

So far I have purchased quite a few of them and I'm very happy. It's the easiest gyro to configure I know. Their computer programming interface is solid and written in plain English language that's easy to understand. My helis fly better and inspire confidence so I can push more. Tail control is awesome. Integration is available for most radios so you don't have to buy another one. They are priced fair.

Using in a Protos 380, the easiest FBL, it work out of the box perfect, follow the easy steps by step, you heli will dance in the air is so stable I am planning to test the rescue later, the more impressive is how well they lock the tail, my protos 380 the tail lock like is parked nor a little or a micro shake on the tail. the best FBL

I purchased my first IKON HD2 for my new SAB RAW 580 build. After trying others like the Spektrum FC6250HX Helicopter Flybarless Control System, and the TMZ850, and even the Align 3G system. This little unit comes with all the configuration options you can get without any additional prices or options. I have the MSI download this will walk you through a live setup and trimming right on the bird, and it is straight forward and simple. It even shows you how to setup auto level and bailout which are built into the unit. There is a great Demo setup to get you familiar with the interface as well. Once it was configured by the step-by-step process, and I leveled the blades, it flew perfect the first time. OH, and did I say how much I liked the bailout feature. While attempting some tricks in 3D and became a bit confused, I flipped my bailout switch and the Heli righted itself and jumped straight up about 40 feet to a full hover. Very nice feature! This is the only controller I will use going further into my helicopter building.

This is my first Ikon and I really like the setup software. I have used the Ar7200's and AR7210bx's in the past. Set up wend very smooth and is well laid out. It is great because every step is explained. Did the maiden flight and all went perfect. Very Happy.
