This is the second iKon2 flight controller I bought. Loved the first one so much I decided to get another and retrofit into one of my older heli's. The setup wizard is great and I love how easy it is to fine-tune all the settings.
I have been using Ikon FBL for many years. It is by far the most intuitive setup process, and I don't have to by a special radio for it. I highly recommend.
I bought my first iKon2 a few months ago to use in my Goblin 520 build. I like it so much I decided to buy a second one to retrofit in my old Goosky RS4. The setup wizard is great and makes fine-tuning quick and easy to understand. I'm also having fun trying to figure out all the available telemetry data which adds a whole new element. While I don't have anything else to compare this against other than the Goosky FBL included in the RS4 combo kit, I'm very impressed and will be using these in all my future builds.
I have several of these Ikon2 FBLs in my Heli fleet. They’ve easy to program, easy to tune, and just work as expected. They’ve helis I have these in are flying exactly as I want them too. Helidirect has the best price on these for a brand new one.
Smooth transaction fast response to order and delivery. Purchased on review and reputation...
First fbl easy to set up
Purchased as a back up for one currently flying. I love the ease of setup for these units compared to others I've used. Simple, reliable.
I've only been in the heli hobby for about a year and I recently used this Ikon2 for my first full-scale heli build. I did experience a bit of a learning curve with the Ikon setup process and software, but there are a LOT of videos and articles out there to help. Once you educate yourself a bit and get comfortable with all the options the Ikon2 makes available to you, its actually fun to play with the tunes and settings to get your heli dialed in the way you want it. Adds a whole new element to the hobby in a good way! I will be putting the Ikon2 in all of my builds going forward.
I've been using the Brain2/IKON2 FBL systems since switching over from old school fly bar systems. This latest IKON2 purchase from Helidirect to use in a OMP M7 reminded me how good these IKONs really are to setup and fly. I had nailed most of the settings on the workbench then got the flying style and feel that I look for by the second flight. So within 15 minutes of total flying time, I was happy! I would definitely buy another one and recommend to anyone flying 3D, Sport, or Scale helicopters. Being able to port all the telemetry to my Powerbox Core Tx screen was a big plus, too.
I will buy it a gan
