Everything I thought it would be. Just needs better driveshafts
Very nice and nice control with brushless motor
I am really enjoying driving this new release from Furitek! Right out of the box this machine is more capable than almost any other out-of-the-box mini crawler out there. Coupled with great looks is the fantastic capabilities. It is a great crawler and can crawl up many lines my other rigs just cannot handle, even the moded vehicles I have. The control provided by the FOC technology that comes with this unit allows superior performance in all types of situations. The stock frame, shocks, electronics and more are all items that would be considered upgrades to many other manufactures vehicles.
I love the looks of this green monster! Aggressive and nicely designed, this vehicle looks ready for business. While many have been critical of the front grill, I absolutely love it!! I see many actual Jeeps with very similar aftermarket modifications to make it look like the Furitek design. Kudos Furitek!
While this vehicle is great, it is not perfect. I am looking to change the tires and wheels. The wheels are fine, but I’d like a little customization on my rig. The tires however, seem to be just a little too stiff for my liking and driving style. Finally, while the body latch does work well when engaged, the latch on my vehicle is still stiff and difficult to get to side into place. I will likely replace that latch with a simple magnetic system.

Nicely detailed body. Overall a nice small crawler. Only complaint is the 2 rear shocks had no oil and one fell apart when I went to add oil. It will not hold oil.

Weather you want to snail crawl with enough torque to reel in the moon or bash thru a muddy pit at full speed this thing has the power. I love it and would highly recommend one.
I recently purchased the Katana. The truck performs great straight out of box. Shipping and communication during the pre-sale were great.
It looks amazingly good inside and out. With performance to match. Definitely recommend.
So far it's a beast. Needs some brass and the latch system is cool but it's a pain to get latched.
The katana is an amazing little crawler especially for the price. Almost fully equipped and extremely capable out of the box while leaving room for upgrades and modifications.
