Nice unit!

The most accurate way to check the pitch is on the blade grips. It has multiple spacers on the attachment point to accommodate multiple grip spaces. There are no batteries to replace because it has a rechargeable battery. I have owned several pitch gauges in the past, and this is hands down the best one yet. Well worth the price. I should also mention the screen is lit so it is very to see. This is a quality product that is made of anodized aluminum on the body of the unit and the attaching arm.

Steam pitch gauge

This is a very nice pitch gauge; can align and check pitch from the blade holder itself. When you have a small space to work with very easy to do pitch setup without your main blades on. Great product.

I really like this pitch gauge. In my opinion, it mounts exactly where a pitch gauge should mount - where the blade bolts into the blade holder. This pitch gauge is very well built and no batteries are required because of its built in rechargeable battery a supplied charging cord. Finally a pitch gauge I am happy with.
