Wasn't sure what to expect because I have two other multi-mode planes (Eflite & Graupner) and they fly good except when you transition between airplane mode back to drone mode. Never know how they will react but the X450 flies so much better and it also has the vertical mode. It's very stable even in 5 to8 mile an hour winds and is so fun to fly. Transitioning between the 3 modes is smooth and much better then the Eflite or Graupner. Flight times seem to be long but I haven't timed them yet. And the price is great for what you get which is everything. I do wish that I could use my own transmitter and may try and bind it to my RM TX16s in the future. I highly recommend this plane!
The fighter is very easy to get up and fly. Although the manual is very hard to understand. I went to youtube and someone had went through the setup and flight which is alot better than the manual that comes with it. The button for Stick mode is labeled Stuck. It does fly very well in all modes from 3D to 6G. Its fast so an open area without alot of things in the way at first might be a good idea until you get used to it as a plane flight.
This is a fun aircraft to fly. I recommend , you give yourself lots of room to fly it. I destroyed one because I was overconfident in a confined area. The aircraft flies great !
