These are the perfect Canopy locks
I am tired of messing with my canopy, I will have to find a way to mount the knobs to my Trex500 but I love the way these snap in place.
I use these on all my larger SAB helis. I currently use them on the Kraken, Havok, and Kraken 580. They also work on the Goblin 700 KSE. Since the knobs stick out the canopy a bit, they make canopy insertion and removal more ergonomic. The latching mechanism snaps in place when the knob is fastened properly (gives feedback), compared to the stock knob where it is possible to believe the canopy is fastened properly when it is not.
Works great on all my models with some mods.
These just make pre flight easier and the install / upgrade was completed in a couple of minutes.
This is a great upgrade. It's much more simple than the factory screw on canopy mounts that come with the kit. In fact, I think this should be the standard. It's fast to connect, solid, and you don't have to worry about losing the hand tightened nuts that come with the factory setup.
They work very well on all of my models !
Easy to line up for a secure canopy
Very secure shouldn't come apart. Drop of oil to smooth operation.
Ive tried a few of the diff quick release mounts, but these (Tenax) style connectors are the best I've come across!!! I did have to retap the holes to 3mm on G570, but after that, they fit perfectly, and are way better than the other type of connection!!!
