Love this over battery backups. Works great even on my 700 will give me approximately 20 seconds of complete control once the main battery is disconnected. Plenty of time to land a heli.
These work amazingly well, limit back flowing EMF’s from servos, and can be set up to be disabled with a switch. 100% better than fiddling with any lipo powered backup system. This unit appears to be the best on the market, watch the YouTube videos comparing backup cap packs
I had a recent failure of an ESC and luckily was at low altitude so no damage to my Tron 5.8. I installed this as a measure of safety and security. Now I can fly without fear of a repeat! Get one, it’s worth the peace of mind.
I've used super capacitor buffers on all my larger helicopters since the R2 Prototyping days. I upgraded my capacitor buffers to these XGuard RC capacitor buffers mainly because these XGuard RC capacitor buffers are current-triggered instead of voltage-triggered as is the case with most other capacitor buffers currently available.

What a great product this turned out to be! Complete with a full list of features and plenty of power for my Goblin 420. The build quality is top notch and will last a long time, I really like the LED indicators on the top and programmable power button! You know it does its job to perfection when you forget its on there and burn a ESC then auto down with no issues! (this happened to me 3 days after installation). Thank you!
