Aluminum Tail Belt Tension Set

I bought these because I like a loose belt. Been tracing a weird vibration and wondering if this is it.

This upgrade ensures a defined amount of tension on the tail belt, not a must have, but for that extra confidence you won’t have a tail belt slip.

I am not sure if this is really needed or not but it makes tightening the belt easier in my opinion. In the manual it just says the belts need to be tight but they don't tell you how tight. If you leave it loose it hits the tail servo on spool up and if you make it real tight then it just puts a lot of stress on the parts. The tensioner lets you find that happy medium for sure and worth the money in my opinion.

Well, as always with SAB, the quality of the product is excellent. However, this part is not really needed, as it's not hard to get the belt tight on this heli. I guess in the rare possibility that your belt stretches, this will help maintain the tension. I also didn't notice any rolling resistance relief by adding this tensioner. In fact I think it may have actually increased drag on the belt because of the angle placed on the belt, and the addition of a pully that doesn't spin by itself. Save your money and buy more batteries...

I found this piece very helpful. Due to the clearance between my tail servo and the belt, I had to have the belt very tight.
Now I have a lot less rolling resistance and still maintain clearance.
