Hobby wing makes great products and this programming box is no different. I bought for the FlyFun ESC I purchased for my airplane. It made programming the ESC simple and easy. Very convenient.

Tried on 30 a fly fun esc finally got blank lines to numbers programmed then esc died had 20 a skywalker box is unresponsive heli direct has offered to take back just haven’t had time

Am a heli and fixed wing flyer and have been a fan of HobbyWing's ESC's. But finding out that this box is needed to program my first time purchase of their FunFly 30A ESC, I was a bit skeptical because of its low price. But am rating it a 5 star because it's easy to use and it works just as well as the pricier multifunction LCD Program Box. And considering the current price for HobbyWing's line-up of Platinum V2 HV/high current ESC's, this box should be included with them free of charge.

And closing with one minor complaint: I was disappointed to find that the box comes with instruction stickers, and the one already applied is for programming their brushless ESC's installed in RC cars and boats. Considering the size of these stickers, and risk of trapped air bubbles that can occur, I opted not to apply the one supplied for the fixed-wing/heli's.

Was unable to solve my programing problem with the programing box. This was do to a faulty HW 30a FunFly V5 ESC. Before the purchase of the P/Box I had no luck programing soft start with my Transmitter, so thought to try P/Box and still no change. The P/box is easy to use.
