MA Koll Rotor Pro Balancer - Set

This tool is an absolute must for every heli pilot. In a few minutes you can easily check how badly off-balance your brand new blades are - and correct them!

The Koll balancer works very well. I tested it on a 600 scale Jet Ranger that was smooth but had a bit of a "buzz" in the fin. After checking the main blades and finding no issue, I found a slight variation on the tail blades which a small piece of tape resolved. I was skeptical that this little bit of tape would have any effect but the heli is dead smooth now. This balancer addresses cg as well as weight. Highly recommended.

Can't got wrong with this balancer. All my helicopters are as smooth as butter. I recommend this to anyone.

Unit took some time understand functional aspects. Once download manual as it is not provided the process to CG and balance blades became clear why both are important to smooth operation of the bird. It takes time and multiple completion of process, in the end it does exactly as it is intended. It will serve you well just perform the process.

Anyone that has flown an RC helicopter in the last 700 years knows how important it is to balance and track your rotor systems. In this day and age, pod and boom blade sets have the work done for you so it’s just a formality check. But if you take on a scale project with a multi bladed head, balancing is a must. I chose this balancer because it’s an all in one stop. The instructions aren’t very intuitive unless you've performed the task before. This device is a must if you fly Roban Super Scale aircraft, however it’s nice to have for all other rotary wing aircraft. I also recommend searching YouTube for blade balancing techniques in conjunction with purchasing this device.

I wish the bubble level were better attached and that it had better instructions than the YouTube video. However, I cannot think of a better way to balance helicopter blades.
